On the 03rd of March 2020 at 2:00 pm, from the GFG Style museum in Torino, an unexpected announcement. On live streaming, as a consequence of the cancelation of the Geneva Motor Show, the rebirth of the historical brand Bandini Automobili Forlì is officially announced. A ground breaking concept, the Barchetta Full Electric, was born from the creative flair of Giorgetto Giugiaro. Its name is Dora, a tribute to the mother of the founder Ilario Bandini, as well as the mother of Michele Orsi Bandini, great-grandson and CEO of the New Bandini Automobili.
The New Bandini Era begins with a Concept Car which won’t remain a pure exertion of style by the “Designer of the Century” Giorgetto Giugiaro. Perhaps unexpectedly by the public, Dora will be soon produced in 30 pieces. A Rare Limited Edition meant to represent the current vision of a much sought after style, even by Ilario Bandini himself. Dora is at the same time aesthetic appeal and technological innovation, “Container & Content” in harmony, designed and made as “Art in Motion” celebrating the History and shaping the Future of the Bandini brand.
